My training equips me to work with children, adolescents and adults suffering from anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, high functioning neurodevelopmental disorders, and eating disorders.

I immensely enjoy working with individuals during life transitions and identity crises, helping them to solidify their identity, create healthy and supportive relationships, and launch effectively navigating expected and unexpected emotional turbulence associated with change. Working with individuals to constructively separate and individuate from their families of origin, I also help individuals through developmental, psychological, familial, occupational transitions, and relationship challenges.

I was trained to think and formulate analytically, but I also utilize interpersonal, cognitive- behavioral, and dialectical behavioral techniques to help those with persistent mental illnesses identify their maladaptive reactions by identifying contributing problematic thoughts, interpretations, and behaviors that contribute to and create unrealistic expectations, leading to ongoing frustrations and disappointments. Recognizing discordant and incongruous thought, feeling, action, and expectations, I help them to regain control of their emotional lives and relationships.
